How it works

  1. Open any Perplexity thread with sources.
  2. Click CiteBridge — every cited source is extracted and verified.
  3. Copy BibTeX, download .bib/.ris, or push straight into Zotero.

Honest metadata, always

DOI ✓Verified

The DOI was resolved against Crossref: authors, journal, year and pages are citation-ready.

matchedScholarly match

High-confidence match via OpenAlex — only accepted above a strict similarity threshold.

webpageHonest fallback

If a source can't be verified, it's saved as a webpage reference. CiteBridge never invents a paper.

Frequently asked questions

Which platforms are supported?

Perplexity (regular answers, Deep Research and Academic focus) on Chrome and Chromium browsers (Edge, Brave, Arc, Comet). ChatGPT Deep Research support is next on the roadmap.

Does it work with my local Zotero?

Yes — Pro pushes items directly to your running Zotero desktop app via its local connector, the same mechanism the official Zotero browser connector uses. No Zotero account login needed.

How do I get my license after buying?

Your license key arrives by email immediately after checkout. Open the extension's settings, paste the key, and Pro unlocks on the spot — on up to 5 devices.

What data does CiteBridge collect?

None. No account, no analytics, no tracking. Only source titles/DOIs are sent to the public Crossref/OpenAlex APIs for verification, and your license key to validate Pro. See the privacy policy.

Can I get a refund?

Yes — if it doesn't work for you, reply to your receipt email within 14 days and we'll refund you, no questions asked.
